But please allow me to add the commentarial statement: IT IS DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS NEITHER PARODY NOR SELF-PARODY… BUT THE MESSAGE BEING CONVEYED HERE IS GIVEN (AND INTENDED TO BE RECEIVED) IN EARNEST, AS IF IT WERE USEFUL ADVICE IN THE 21ST CENTURY.
One of my fans (who is, like myself, genetically Jewish, but a devout atheist) recently suggested that I join one of the local Jewish groups, given that I'm surrounded by cocaine addicts. I really do not think I'd be accepted at the same coffee table as the average member of Chabad —nor even an extraordinarily lenient member of Chabad, quite frankly.
